RESEARCH ANALYST

Leading Washington-based real estate trade association representing prominent apartment firms seeks a research analyst to conduct and coordinate diverse research. The individual reports to the Vice President of Research/Chief Economist and will engage in a wide range of activities including:

  • analyzing industry trends;
  • tracking apartment market indicators;
  • maintaining and developing new website content;
  • conducting industry surveys; and
  • responding to research and inquiries from staff, members, media, and the public.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in using statistical methods and software to tabulate and analyze large data sets such as the American Housing Survey, the Current Population Survey, and the American Community Survey. In addition, the candidate must possess excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills. NMHC offers a flexible and professional work environment with a competitive salary and benefits package. Masters degree plus 2 years experience or Bachelors degree plus 5 years experience required.
