AHS: HUD, Census Web Site Updates

The shapefile archive for zones in the 2007 American Housing Survey metropolitan areas, which I announced earlier, had a faulty file. The actual shapefiles were fine, but one of the auxiliary PDFs for Miami actually contained a map of Minneapolis! That has been corrected, and the file at https://www.huduser.gov/portal/datasets/ahs.html#shpfile now has the correct Miami map. If you downloaded the previous version and would like just the Miami PDF, I will send it by email upon request.

The Census Bureau's AHS web site at http://www.census.gov/housing/ahs/ is undergoing a transformation, in line with the Bureau's general upgrade of its web site. You may find that things have been moved from where you expect to find them. One new item is that the 2009 AHS National tables now include some with standard errors:
http://www.census.gov/housing/ahs/data/national.html. Census is still working on the transformation, and so there will be more changes before it all settles down again.
