Does the 1995 "ZSPEC" variable exist in later years surveys?

Hi Everyone,
Thanks for your responses to my last question about the
difference metro/national data sets. Your responses have be
very helpful.

I have another question:

The 1995 American Housing Survey data set had a variable
called "ZSPEC." The variable recorded the owner/renter code,
and has the following 6 categories.

1. Owners-limit to 1unit struc on <10 acres & no busines prop
2. Cooperative or Condominium
3. Other Owner
4. Renters excluding 1-unit structures on 10 acres or more
5. Other Renter
6. Vacant, URE or Non-Interview

I am interested in this same variable with its various
categories for the subsequent years (1997, 1999, 2001, 2003).
However, this variable does not seem to exist in these years.

Is there a comparable variable, or has the 1995 variable
(zspec) been renamed in the subsequent years, or has it been
dropped? If so, what's its replacement?
