LAT70S was part of the lead-based paint supplement. We did not run this supplement in 2003. You can get the exact year built from the BUILT variable.

By the way, you can download a crosstabulation of variable names by survey years from HUD USER. It can be found on the "More AHS Data and Publications" page, https://www.huduser.gov/portal/datasets/ahs.html . It is in the Technical Supplements section, listed as Variable Name Index.
