[OT] Job Posting: Housing Policy Analyst

The Center on Budget and Policy Priorities is seeking to hire an additional housing policy analyst.  Under the direction of the Center’s Director of Housing Policy, the policy analyst will conduct research and write policy analyses and strategy reports on federal funding for low-income housing programs, federal housing policy, and policy choices facing state and local housing agencies. In addition, the analyst will provide technical assistance to federal, state, and local non-profit organizations and policymakers. 

Candidates for this position should have at least two years of relevant experience, as well as excellent writing and analytic skills; a graduate degree is preferred.  Candidates should have strong quantitative skills as well as the ability to analyze complex program issues and explain those issues in simple terms for broad audiences.  Additionally, a working knowledge of low-income housing programs is desirable.
