Community Resources Project Administrator

Position Summary
The principal goals of the CDBG Program are to benefit low and moderate income persons, aid in the prevention or elimination of slums or blight and meet urgent community development needs. This person will be responsible for the management of housing, redevelopment and special projects, program research, community relations and other tasks related to the effective and efficient implementation of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) projects. Responsible for administering rehabilitation loan programs, lead-based paint program and maintaining records for all grant programs and projects. Will assist the Community Resources & Code Compliance Director in public presentations and other projects as needed.

Position Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business administration, management or related field with strong computer skills; or equivalent combination of experience and training to provide the following knowledge, abilities, and skills:

Knowledge of basic accounting and budget procedures. The ability to read, interpret, and put to use governmental regulations and municipal ordinances.. Good verbal and written communication skills needed with an ability to courteously explain procedures and practices to clients, employees, vendors, etc. Highly proficient computer skills including the ability to utilize Microsoft Word and Excel spreadsheets. Ability to compose correspondence or agenda materials on routine matters and to present materials to the public. Ability to perform basic statistical research and writing projects involving data collection, summarization, analysis and design. Ability to obtain and maintain an Arkansas Driver's License.

$32785.00

Mid-point Salary:
$39500.00

Maximum Salary:
$46215.00
