Sustainable and Inclusive Housing Initiative
Participants of the Sustainable Urban Housing Competition: Collaborating for Livable and Inclusive Cities were tasked with creating models that promote sustainable urban housing opportunities. The response to the competition was overwhelming with over 300 entries from more than 30 countries. The winning teams — Argentina, Brazil, and the United States — exemplified an extra measure of innovation in presenting solutions that are sensitive to the local context but also have significant potential for scalability to other cities, regions, and countries.
