AHS: 2004 Data Update

The American Housing Survey 2004 metropolitan survey datasets have been updated to correct an error in which condominium fee (CONFEE) was accidentally set equal to 5 for all condo cases. This correction also affects monthly housing cost (ZSMHC) for those cases. You can download the corrected files in SAS and ASCII formats from the HUD USER web site:

The original file flattener program will still work with the updated SAS file, as Census did not change the way it produced the export file for this dataset.

Because ZSMHC changed, we also updated the Housing Affordabilty Data System files for 2004. You can download the data in SAS or ASCII formats from HUD USER at:
