Past Showcases

The Innovative Housing Showcase is a public event that raises awareness of innovative and affordable housing designs and technologies that have the potential to increase housing supply, lower the cost of construction, increase energy efficiency and resilience, and reduce housing expenses for owners and renters. The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and its Office of Policy Development and Research (PD&R) have hosted four Showcases – 2019, 2022, 2023, and 2024. The events include exhibitor demonstrations and full-sized prototype homes that display innovative building technologies that address affordability, resilience, and the future of housing.
