Quality Control for Rental Assistance

HUD's Office of Policy Development and Research recently
released Quality Control for Rental Assistance Subsidies
Determination: Final Report for FY 2007. This study
provides national estimates of errors in rental payments
and subsidies in HUD rental assistance programs during
Fiscal Year 2007. National estimates of the extent,
severity, costs, and sources of these errors are
calculated for:
 
o PHA (Public Housing Authority)-administered Public
  Housing;
o Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher;
o Moderate Rehabilitation programs;
o Owner-administered Section 8; and
o Section 202 and Section 811 programs with Project Rental
  Assistance Contracts or Project Assistance Contracts.
