From: HUD USER News

HUD USER has posted two new Comprehensive Housing Market
Analysis (CHMA) reports for Orange County, California
and College Station-Bryan, Texas. These reports contain
valuable information for builders, mortgage lenders,
borrowers, local planners, and others who need to keep
up with local housing conditions and trends. Prepared by
field economists in HUD's Office of Policy Development
and Research, the reports provide data that are useful
in anticipating changes in the demand for new housing.
Each CHMA report describes economic, demographic, and
housing inventory characteristics from 1990 to 2000,
from 2000 to the date of analysis, and projections from
the publication date to a given forecast date.

These new CHMAs, as well as previously published reports
covering housing markets across the nation, are
available at
 www.huduser.gov/portal/publications/econdev/mkt_analysis.html.
All reports are available as free downloads.
