HUD has released the final quarterly report of "U.S.
Housing Market Conditions" for 2006, which contains an
analysis of both the fourth quarter and the entire year.
The report updates national and regional data, as well
as historical trends in housing markets, production, and
affordability.
 
The feature article in this issue, "New Low-Income
Housing Tax Credit Project Data Available," is based on
a recently released update of the Low-Income Housing Tax
Credit (LIHTC) Database. In-depth housing market
profiles are also given for Atlanta-Sandy Springs-
Marietta, Georgia; Bakersfield, California; Charlotte,
North Carolina-South Carolina; Eugene-Springfield,
Oregon; Fort Collins-Loveland, Colorado; Fort Worth,
Texas; Oakland, California; Ocala, Florida; and Seattle-
Bellevue-Everett, Washington.
 
The report is available online and can be downloaded for
