We've been holding off on that until we get the 2007 codebook finished.  It's almost there.  However, you can use the Value Labels File from 2005, which is available at https://www.huduser.gov/portal/datasets/ahs.html .  There were very few changes between 2005 and 2007.  A few variables were deleted, and a few were added.  But the ones there use the same coding.

Thanks for all your work making the AHS accessible and easy to use!  I was
wondering if there were any SAS formats, or code for generating formats,
that had already been created for the categorical variables in the survey?
I didn't find anything on HUDUSER, but thought you might know of something.
