AHS: American Housing Survey 2005 National Dataset Released

The dataset from the 2005 national American Housing Survey is
now available for download in SAS and ASCII formats from the
HUD USER web site,
https://www.huduser.gov/portal/datasets/ahs.html .

The 2005 survey featured a new set of income questions
patterned after the questions used in the Amercan Community
Survey (ACS). A document describing these changes and
examining how they changed the reported incomes in the dataset
can be downloaded from the web site.

We will be adding additional documentation to the web site in
the next few weeks. Right now, it does have a file of
descriptive statistics and a link to download the AHS codebook.
