Metro Survey Use Examples

This is the time of year when we need to to document the uses
to which the American Housing Survey is put. As usual, the
metropolitan surveys are under the most scrutiny and in most
danger. This year is particularly difficult for most
domestic policy agencies, as their budgets are being reduced.
If you use the AHS metropolitan surveys for any purpose, I
would like to hear from you. "Use" includes both consulting
the published tables as well as sophisticated analysis of the
microdata. It may be for background information, short
articles, or academic papers.

Please tell me your story. If you have copies of papers or
articles using metro survey data, I would like to have them.
But even short emails explaining how you use the data would
be helpful.

Thank you.
