AHS Users-

Version 1.75 of the AHS codebook is now available up on the HUD USER website

Generally minor changes and corrections with two additions in this round:

1)     Initial documentation on income limit variables. Currently, these variables are merged on separately with a separate download.  However, there’s the potential (HUD and Census are deciding) that they will be included in the AHS distribution.  So, we’ve started putting documentation on those variables in the AHS codebook.  This section will continue be revised.

2)     Additional descriptions about how component files can be merged together.  There are users who don’t do things in SAS, and wanted more documentation/explanation of how to merge the component files together.  Our thanks to Rich Levy of National Multihousing Council for his suggestions, and Dave Yao of HUD for the previous charts he had made.

As usual, please send me any comments (especially on these sections) or corrections.  We will be continuing to update the codebook.
