Rhonda,

I have absolutely no clue what a metro zone is. Not one. You might want
to point him to the City’s website and then to the GIS Dept portion of it.
There’s an interactive map there that may give him the info he needs.

Sorry

Is this something that you can help with or answer?

From: American Housing Survey (AHS) ListServ <ahs@huduser.gov>

I am using 2002 AHS metropolitan files to study the neighborhood
conditions that affect residents' evaluation of their neighborhoods, and I
need to generate a map of the metropolitan zones so that I can link
objective indicators of a larger context to residents' subjective
      assessment.

Does the metropolitan zone map (in a GIS format) exist for the 2002 AHS?
Or is there a tract-to-zone file that I can use to generate a zone map?
The GIS map that can be downloaded from HUD website is only for the 1998
      metro-zones.

      Your help is greatly appreciated,

      Yizhao
