U.S. Housing Market Conditions Market at a Glance Reports from HUD User

HUD's Office of Policy Development and Research (PD&R) and the Economic & Market Analysis Division (EMAD) are pleased to present the Market at a Glance reports, which provide select housing and labor statistics for national, regional, state, county, and metropolitan markets.

These two-page reports, assembled using data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics and the U.S. Census Bureau, provide charts and narrative about current economic, demographic, and housing market conditions. The national data in the Market at a Glance reports were recently updated and include labor force, resident employment, and nonfarm payroll jobs information through June 2020, as well as annual building activity for single-family and multifamily residential units through May 2020.
