This historical publication was produced by the Sub-Committee on Bibliography of the Central Housing Committee on Economics and Statistics. The publication is an index to volume 2 of the Housing Index-Digest which covers the period from September 15, 1938 to August 1, 1939. The index is divided into two parts: an author index and a subject index. The committee was composed of researchers from housing and other agencies with the goals to assemble and evaluate economic housing data, recommend or supervise surveys and studios, and exchange opinions and results obtained from separate investigations.
