From: HUD USER News

As we prepare to celebrate our nation's independence,
our friends from the U.S. Census Bureau tell us that in
July 1776, the estimated population of the newly formed
nation was 2.5 million. This year, the U.S. Census
Bureau estimates 302 million Americans will be
celebrating on July 4th with parades, fireworks, and
backyard barbecues.

The HUD USER Clearinghouse management and staff want to
wish everyone a safe and festive July 4th holiday! We'll
be back next week with the most recent news from HUD's
Office of Policy Development & Research. As always,
assistance with all your housing research and
publication requests is available through the contact
information below.
