[OT] Residential Finance List Serve Now Available

The Residential Finance Survey (RFS) list is now available. Developed by HUD's
Office of Policy Development and Research, this list is intended to
facilitate the exchange of information related to the Residential Finance
Survey.

HUD CONTACT
The HUD contact for questions about the Residential Finance
Survey is Robert Knight (robert_a._knight@hud.gov). Note
that questions about mailing list administration, such as how to
unsubscribe, should be directed to the list owner, as shown below.

PURPOSE
This mailing list exists to discuss the Residential Finance Survey (RFS), a
survey of financing residential properties in the United States.
This survey is funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and
Urban Development and conducted by the Bureau of the Census.

OFF-TOPIC MESSAGES
Because this mailing list has a narrow focus, off-
topic messages are discouraged. You may post announcements or similar
messages provided that they are related to housing analysis and statistics.

The subject headers of such off-topic messages should begin with the tag
[OT] so that readers who are not interested may identify and delete them.
For example: "[OT] Special Session on Housing Statistics at EEA Meetings"

ATTACHMENTS
Do not use file attachments in your posts to the mailing
list. If you have a file you want to share with subscribers, make an
announcement to the list and invite them to request the file from you, by
private email.

STANDARD MAILING LIST ETIQUETTE
1. Always put your name and email address in the BODY of your message.
2. If your email software defaults to quoting the previous message when you
reply, turn off this feature. Do not use "Reply with history." Quote only
as much of the previous message as you really need.

HOW TO POST TO THE LIST
Send an email from the same address you used to subscribe to
rfs@huduser.gov. Remember any message you send to this address will be
resent to all subscribers!

HOW TO GET OFF THE LIST
To stop receiving messages from the list, send an email to rfs@huduser.gov
with the SUBJECT "unsubscribe" (without the quotes).

HOW TO RECEIVE A WEEKLY DIGEST
If you would rather receive one email message per week that contains all
the messages sent to the list, then send a message to the list with DIGEST
ON in the subject.
