This report on the characteristics of nuw one-family homes in 1973 covers homes sold, contractor-built homes started and all homes completed (built for sale, contractor-built, owner-built and rental). It is part of the joint Bureau of the Census, Social and Economic Statistics Administration (SESA), U.S. Department of Commerce-U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development study on housing sales which was started in 1962. This is the 11th annual report prepared for this program.
