The sixth article in a series focusing on HUD's Comprehensive Housing Market Analyses examines the Camden, New Jersey housing market area (HMA). The Camden HMA has been experiencing moderate economic growth since 2013, with companies relocating to the area in order to take advantage of state-based incentives programs. Despite the growth, however, the population has remained stable since 2010 and demand for housing has been low. As of 2017, employment growth is expected to continue, and demand for housing is expected to rise.
