The tabulations from the 2009 metropolitan American Housing Surveys are now available on the Census Bureau's web site, http://www.census.gov/hhes/www/housing/ahs/metropolitandata.html. The metro areas covered include Chicago, Detroit, Philadelphia, New York, Northern New Jersey, and Seattle. Of these, the first five surveys were conducted as supplementary samples to the national AHS. Seattle was an independent survey. Tabulations from the special metro survey of New Orleans were posted to that site earlier.

Microdata from the five metro surveys included in the national survey are in the national dataset, which you can download from HUD USER, https://www.huduser.gov/portal/datasets/ahs.html. The Seattle and New Orleans data each have their own dataset, available at https://www.huduser.gov/portal/datasets/ahs.html and https://www.huduser.gov/portal/datasets/ahs.html, respectively.
