Strategy of the Month: Case Study Clearinghouse

This month, we introduce a new online resource from HUD USER, the Case Study Clearinghouse. The Clearinghouse features case studies of innovative projects and programs that promote sustainable and affordable housing.

The first series of case studies focus on small housing development and include:

• Portland, Oregon’s Living Smart Program;
• Los Angeles, California’s Small Lot Ordinance; and
• Kirkland, Washington’s Cottage Housing Ordinance.
