AHS: PD&R Research Partnerships

Dear AHS Community,

PD&R recently announced an exciting new opportunity for AHS-based research partnerships between PD&R and outside individuals and organizations.

Historically, PD&R has been using competitive NOFAs and procurements for research partnerships. PD&R recently received new authority to use non-competitive cooperative agreements to participate in research projects that are developed and led by outside individuals and organizations. Unlike competitive NOFAs and procurements, this authority allows PD&R to partner in research projects that were not designed by HUD and which HUD has not solicited.

One of the research priorities is increasing the use of American Housing Survey data. This opportunity may appeal to you if you are currently engaged in AHS research or are developing an AHS research proposal. I strongly encourage you to learn about this new opportunity.
