Office of University Partnerships (OUP) Integrated into HUD USER
Information on grants, interactive conferences, and housing and urban development-related research previously available from HUD’s Office of University Partnerships (OUP) is now integrated into HUD USER, the website and clearinghouse for HUD’s Office of Policy Development and Research (PD&R). OUP was established in 1994 to encourage and expand partnerships between colleges and universities and their communities, and HUD continues to recognize the crucial role that institutions of higher learning and other anchor institutions, such as hospitals and cultural centers, play in revitalizing our nation’s communities.
Visit the OUP pages on HUD USER to learn more about grants awarded to researchers and institutions of higher learning and to access the latest publications, best practice examples of anchor institutions, and a number of other useful resources. You can also subscribe to Partners in Progress, a new quarterly e-newsletter that focuses on the accomplishments of OUP grantees, describes partnerships resulting in noteworthy community change, and summarizes significant findings from relevant publications. If you are interested in receiving Partners in Progress, as well as other important updates from OUP, you can subscribe here.
If you have any questions, please contact HUD USER at 1-800-245-2691, option 3 or email us at helpdesk@huduser.gov.
