New State-Level Infographics are Here!

Today, the American Housing Survey (AHS) Visualizations webpage was updated to include new infographics. For the first time, the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the United States Census Bureau (Census) have produced state-level estimates using AHS data and created infographics to make the data easier and more accessible for you. The five featured states are California, New York, Florida, Pennsylvania, and Texas.

Next year, HUD and Census will release a full set of 2015 AHS estimates for each of the five states, plus two additional states—Colorado and Ohio. The estimates will be available in the AHS Table Creator. Due to the 2015 AHS sample design, estimates for other states are not available.

The AHS team always welcomes feedback on ways we can improve the survey, and make it easier to use and more accessible. We also want to know how you and your colleagues may be thinking about using the survey data, so that we can assist you in your efforts.
