2011 Metropolitan Area estimates now in the Table Creator

We updated the Table Creator to include the 2011 Metropolitan Area summary estimates for 29 metropolitan area oversamples conducted that year. These new estimates are based on revised weights developed for our April 2019 re-launch of the National and Metropolitan Areas Public Use Files (PUFs).

The new estimates will differ slightly from the prior estimates contained in Excel files, which were based on the combined national and metropolitan areas sample. We will maintain the prior Excel versions of selected metropolitan area summary estimates in case users would like to compare estimates between the old and new weighting schemes.

Slight revisions to the 2011 National estimates in the Table Creator

Following our April 2019 decision to re-release the 2011 AHS we have revised the 2011 AHS National summary estimates in the Table Creator. The revisions apply to virtually every estimate. However, the revisions are minor and will not impact analysis. We will maintain the prior Excel versions of selected national summary estimates in case users would like to compare estimates between the old and new weighting schemes.

Other Table Creator updates

• We have temporarily removed the 2011 "Home Improvement Cost" table due to problems verifying the data. We intend to re-release the table in the coming months.

• Based on user feedback, we updated the "HUD-Assisted Status" by-group column headers for all years
