Shaping HUD's Research: Kickoff Event Banner Image

The HUD Research Roadmap, a strategic research plan, guides PD&R’s research efforts and ensures an ongoing supply of research relevant to housing and urban development. Currently PD&R is preparing to gather broad stakeholder input on important research gaps. Research can build a foundation of evidence for improving America’s housing and communities, using taxpayer resources more effectively, and making HUD’s programs work better with other public or private investments. PD&R welcomes your ideas about what important research questions need to be answered to produce such outcomes.

Please join us to hear a distinguished panel of policy experts discuss their views on evidence gaps, and learn how you can share your ideas in the most useful and compelling way. HUD’s Research Roadmap will support HUD’s Strategic Plan and align with the Federal Evidence-Based Policymaking Act that was signed into law early in 2019.
