The HUD Research Roadmap, a strategic research plan, guides PD&R’s research efforts and ensures an ongoing supply of research relevant to housing and urban development. Currently PD&R is preparing to gather broad stakeholder input on important research gaps. Research can build a foundation of evidence for improving America’s housing and communities, using taxpayer resources more effectively, and making HUD’s programs work better with other public or private investments. PD&R welcomes your ideas about what important research questions need to be answered to produce such outcomes.

HUD’s Research Roadmap will support HUD’s Strategic Plan and align with the Federal Evidence-Based Policymaking Act that was signed into law early in 2019.
