This historical publication is Volume 1, Number 3 of the Housing Digest published by the Research and Information Branch of the Public Work Administration’s Housing Division. The publication was originally intended as a reading guide for members of the Housing Division’s staff, however, after the initial volume was published, the publication was requested by others interested in housing. The topics of the digest include planning and surveys, programs, slum clearance, legislation, finance, standards and materials, management, opinion, rural rehabilitation, miscellaneous, new books, and announcements.
