From: HUD USER News

HUD USER has posted new Comprehensive Housing Market
Analysis (CHMA) reports for Fort Collins-Loveland,
Colorado and Amarillo, Texas. The reports for these
areas are available online and can be downloaded for
free at
 www.huduser.gov/portal/publications/econdev/mkt_analysis.html.

These reports contain valuable information for builders,
mortgagees, local planners, and others who need to keep
up with local housing conditions and trends. Prepared by
field economists in HUD's Office of Policy Development
and Research, the reports provide data useful in
anticipating changes in the demand for new housing. Each
CHMA report describes the economic, demographic, and
housing inventory characteristics of a selected housing
market area from 1990 to 2000, from 2000 to the date of
the analysis, and from the publication date to a given
forecast date.

In addition to these two new CHMAs, the HUD USER website
above provides links to previously published reports
covering housing markets across the nation. All reports
are available as free downloads.
