AHS 2005 Top and Bottom Code File

The Top- and Bottom-Code documentation for the 2005 American
Housing Survey dataset is now available for download or
viewing on the HUD USER web site,
https://www.huduser.gov/portal/datasets/ahs.html . The
file is an Excel spreadsheet.

In order to maintain confidentiality, unusually high (and, in
a few cases, low) values in the AHS dataset are replaced with
maximum (or minimum) values, called top (or bottom) codes.
The top code file documents these values for the affected
variables.
