Senior Housing Goes Green In Taylorsville.

The Salt Lake Tribune (6/4, Manson, 110K) reports Plymouth View Senior Housing will be thefirst “green” structure in its class in the Western region, offering 540-square foot apartments with views of the mountains. Built with over $10 million in funds from Federal, state, and county sources, the LEED-certified building “boasts a geothermal energy system and other energy-efficient features.” Qualified residents are at least 62 “and have an annual income of no more than $24,000 for one person or $28,000 for two. Those who qualify pay 30 percent of their income for rent.”
