Nebraska's 2 Largest Cities Move Ahead With Joint Program Offering Energy-Efficiency Grants.

The AP (12/19) reports, "Nebraska's two largest cities," Omaha and Lincoln, "are moving ahead on a joint program to promote energy efficiency." The reenergize Program "provides money for some property owners to make energy-efficient upgrades." The cities are using the funding "to help homeowners and businesses obtain incentives topping $1,000 to cover the costs of insulation, more efficient heating and cooling, improved lighting and other energy-efficient upgrades."
