Free Energy Efficiency Assistance Being Offered for 5,000 Low Income Homes in Genesee County

MLive (4/15) reported, "A Consumers Energy mandate to help reduce energy consumption for its income-qualified Michigan customers is translating into free energy efficiency guidance for some 5,000 homes in Genesee County." The company "says it has teamed up with an Okemos-based company, CLEAResult, to reach out to low-income families to provide free energy conservation counseling and assistance." The program targets "young Head Start students and their parents."
