New research featured in Cityscape examines the prevalence of negative equity among homeowners between 1997 and 2009. The research offers insights into how the housing market collapse impacted homeowners among different demographic groups.

Community Benefits Agreement Guides Development in Milwaukee’s Park East Corridor
A coalition of organizations in Milwaukee built support for a Community Benefits Agreement to ensure the redevelopment of the Park East Corridor. This Agreement is the guiding policy with provisions that create affordable housing, expand opportunities for disadvantaged and minority business owners, and provide job training for low-skilled workers.
