AHS: Matching cases from National AHS and Metro AHS Data

Hi,

I was wondering if you can match cases from the national survey to the metropolitan area studies. It looks like the cases from the national survey have just the SMSA number in front of the case number in the control variable but there seems to be other cases included in some of the metro areas that have a more complex control number. If there is another way to match them, please let me know.
