On Thursday, May 12, 2022, from 2:00 pm to 3:45 pm EST, HUD’s Office of Policy Development and Research (PD&R) will host a PD&R Quarterly Update virtual event focused on the intersectionality of youth homelessness. Bringing together different voices, experiences, and expertise, the event will look at how an intersectional lens can inform more effective responses when working with youth experiencing homelessness. Our experts will discuss how to incorporate voices of lived expertise in the program planning process, connections between different support systems (including foster care and juvenile justice), lessons learned from service providers, and research and data needs.

The event will also provide attendees with an update on U.S. housing market conditions, as well as a look at Census Household Pulse Survey data.
