Habitat Goes Green and Saves New Residents Some Green

USA Today (1/4, Paine, Smietana, 1.78M) reports that Habitat for Humanity "has undertaken a national effort to build low-energy homes that are both affordable and green." The report notes that the low-income homes occupants believe these efforts are "paying off" as they see decreased utility bills and that this frees them up to spend their income on other necessities.
