Company Plans to Refurbish Manchester Senior Apartments

The Hartford (CT) Courant (1/24, Leavenworth, 145K) reports, "The private company that is a general partner in the Bennet senior apartments plans to invest $750,000 to $1 million to refurbish the former junior high school, the company's managing director said Tuesday." The structure "was converted from a vacant junior high school to affordable apartments about 30 years ago, Arthur Greenblatt of Simsbury-based VestA told the Bennet Housing Corp. board Monday." He added that it was time to update it.
