Indianapolis Metro Area Ranked No. 1 in Housing Affordability

The Indianapolis Star (5/19) reported that the Indianapolis "metro area is once again the most affordable big-city housing market in the nation, wresting back an honor that had been stolen away the past few quarters by Youngstown, Ohio; Syracuse, N.Y.; and Lakeland, Fla." These rankings, from "the Wells Fargo Housing Opportunity Index, are released by the National Association of Home Builders. They figure the percentage of homes sold in every metro area that are affordable to families earning the area's median income."
