State Using US Grants for Energy Efficiency

The Worcester (MA) Telegram & Gazette (7/25) says the Massachusetts Department of Energy Resources "has $715,000 from the federal government for energy efficiency projects in schools and public housing across the state. Grants will provide opportunities for renewable energy-powered heating and cooling. Gov. Deval Patrick said making public buildings more efficient cuts energy use, reduces greenhouse gas emissions and creates local jobs."
