New Jersey Suspends Developers Fee That Funded Affordable Housing.

PhillyBurbs.com (8/25, Levinsky) reports that a new fee moratorium was signed into law in New Jersey on Wednesday. The moratorium will provide "another reprieve from the state's 2.5 percent fee on commercial construction." PhillyBurbs.com states that "affordable housing advocates said a moratorium on the fee was preferable to an outright repeal of one of the only funding sources for low-income housing development."
