Index Points to New Dawn for US Housing

The Financial Times (9/2, Authers, Subscription Publication, 448K) reported that the latest data from the Case-Shiller index suggest the housing sector may truly be on the road to recovery. Twice before the index has indicated that housing prices had hit bottom, but those were false starts. In contrast to the past, these new data are supported by strong figures from other indices.
