Report Indicates more Homelessness, Greater Renter and Homeowner Disparity

On its website, Minnesota Public Radio (9/12, Williams) writes a report from the Minnesota Housing Partnership says that "homelessness is on the rise in" Minnesota's largest cities, partly due to "rising rents and lower rental vacancies." Leigh Rosenberg, a researcher with the Minnesota Housing Partnership, also said, "In addition we're hearing that many folks have run out of their unemployment benefits. This is also contributing."
