Portland Awarded New Funding to Support Homeless People Living With HIV/AIDS.

Just Out (9/28, Prado) reports that "the Portland Housing Bureau received $1.365 million in new funding from" HUD "to fund a variety of housing services, including short-term rent assistance, employment services, and permanent housing for people living with HIV and experiencing homelessness." Just Out notes that there are over 600 homeless or on the brink of homelessness living with HIV/Aids in the Portland area.
