Malden Gets $3M Grant For Lead Abatement.

The Boston Globe (9/29, Byrne, 244K) says that HUD has awarded the city of "Malden $3 million to clean up dangerous lead-based paint in homes." Malden will use the funding "to offer zero-percent loans to homeowners who clean up their properties of the hazardous substance."
