This report describes the process of a field demonstration of lead paint hazard abatement methods carried out in thirty dwelling units located in Washington, D.C. This on-going Experimental Hazard Abatement Program (EHAP), will ultimately involve the treatment of lead paint hazards in about two-hundred and fifty dwellings located in a number of major cities. The Department of Housing and Urban Development (RUD) is sponsoring the Program and the housing in Washington was supplied by the National Capital Housing Authority (NCHA).
