Research Partnerships
Overview:
Under the Research Partnerships framework, HUD’s Office of Policy Development and Research enters unsolicited research partnerships with academic institutions, philanthropic entities, or federal, state, or local government agencies. When there is an open Research Partnerships funding opportunity, PD&R staff review unsolicited proposals to assess their relevancy to supporting HUD’s research, the extent to which they meet the 50-percent matching requirement, and the rigor of the research design.
